Mad Greek Cafe - Jean

Dirty restaurant with filthy restrooms, see the photo. Took a long time to get our food and only then because we kept asking.

I love this place but this is all fake that people are there! The locations are shut down. Baker and Barstow. And they've been closed since Covid and no date or reopening.

We have been stopping here for years! Even before moving to the area when we were on vacation we would make it a point to eat here. They have amazing Greek Salads. That was my favorite thing to get. I'd try other food dishes but the salad and dressing was great! They use to have a jar set out you could help yourself to a mix that had onions ane carrots with like a vinegar juice. They took that up now the last time we went. They are always busy. You go to the counter and order then they give you a number and you sit and wait till it comes out. We always brought friends here too . This place has been in a few movies so everyone wanrts to come try it. They did try opening one on the strip in Vegas but they ended up closing it or moving. The food is good. If you are in Vegas take the ride to Primm its not far or if in Pahrump head toward Shoshone and go that way, it brings you right behind this place. A must is the Greek salad its huge! Big enough to share!

I went to this location because a coworker insisted we stop and pick something up on our way to Las Vegas. I don't think I would have gone unless someone else wanted it because at a glance, it appears to be more of a diner. I was surprised to find that the food was amazing and the portions sizes were very large. I don't eat Greek food often, but this food was definitely worth stopping for. They also have a small selection of pastries if you want to grab something sweet. I highly encourage anyone that is in the area to stop and get a bite.

*WARNING* DON'T COME HERE! We placed an order via drive through when we were leaving Las Vegas on Friday 3/6. When we went to pay the person walked out of our sight and took a bit long to give us back our card. SURPRISE, SURPRISE! Our Credit Union begins to flag for fraudulent charges. DON'T COME HERE! CASH OR CARD, DON'T SUPPORT THIS LOCATION!
