We have visited this restaurant several times, as our Indian friends introduced us to it. The food served here is delicious and reasonably priced. During our recent visit for dinner, we ordered chicken 65 dry, mutton badami, and mutton biryani. The food was served promptly and did not disappoint. The meal started with complimentary papad, followed by rumali roti, raita, chutney, salad, and khatti daal. The khatti daal and salad were also served with cooked white rice as an extra, complimentary dish. The dishes were all tasty, with the biryani standing out as a highlight for its flavorful taste. The mutton badami was milder but equally delicious. Customers can request additional seasoning to their liking when ordering. The chicken 65 was as flavorful and juicy as always, a favorite dish for us. Fennel seeds with sugar were served at the end as a palate cleanser, also complimentary. Overall, this restaurant is a great choice for those who enjoy Indian cuisine, especially Hyderabadi flavors. The prices are reasonable, and the service is quick and polite. Families can also dine comfortably in a designated area.
We ordered the mutton biriyani special (SR 22), mutton kadai (SR 16), and fish apollo (SR 20). The biriyani arrived promptly, but it was not as hot as we would have liked, indicating it had been prepared before the Magrib prayer. However, the biriyani was delicious, with fluffy rice, tender meat, and flavorful chicken 65 pieces adding an interesting twist. The mutton kadai had large pieces of meat, although there was not much flesh on the bone. It was a generous portion, perfect when paired with rumali roti. The fish apollo, despite its odd name, was a tasty dish with deep-fried fish tossed in chili and spices. The crispy bits added a nice texture to the dish. Overall, the dining experience was great, although the service was a bit slow and the staff at the counter seemed somewhat rude. The restaurant has a spacious family area for those planning to dine with their loved ones. Follow @foodwithshayne on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook for more food reviews.
This Indian Hyderabadi restaurant in Aziziyah, Jeddah is decent in terms of taste. There is a separate family section for dining. However, parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours. Overall, I would rate it an 8 out of 10.
The Hyderabadi chicken brost biryani was really good. For SAR 14. The gajarKaHalwa(sweet) was okish, nothing special though !
