El Poblano Grill Cantina

Absolutely fantastic! This restaurant offers the finest food and indoor seating in Missouri, hands down. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that everything here is fresh. Having traveled extensively throughout Mexico, California, and the United States, I can confidently say that the tortilla chips here are the best I've ever tasted. The food is prepared with pride and dedication. The interior is amazing and deserves to be bustling with patrons, given the wonderful atmosphere and incredible cuisine. Not only are the portions generous, but the prices are reasonable, and the place is kept clean and fresh.

The prices are a bit higher than average. The nachos were amazing! However, the refried beans and rice that came with my husband's meal were bland. It also took a while to get refills, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy.

My husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was delicious! The guacamole and cheese dip were both excellent. We especially loved the salsa and chips.

The service was lacking as they didn't offer to refill our drinks. The soft shell chicken was soggy and bland. When I mentioned this to the staff and requested a replacement, they merely apologized. The four waitresses seemed more focused on chatting and laughing at the bar than attending to customers.

I wish I could share some pictures, but the incredible food had my full attention! We ordered spinach chicken enchiladas and seafood fajitas, both of which were truly impressive. The enchiladas were topped with a delicious poblano sauce that I would gladly order again just for that. The filling was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of ingredients. As for the fajitas, they came with generous portions of crab, shrimp, and fish—there seemed to be more meat than veggies, or at least close to it.
