There aren't many bakeries on the east side of Jeju City that offer croissants, but Insa-ri has a good selection of croissants, including plain, almond, and pain au chocolat. I debated whether to try the queen amandine, but ended up saving it for later. The croissants from Insa-ri have a simple style that is not overly buttery, which I appreciate. The almond croissant and pain au chocolat were worth the price, with a generous amount of almond filling and a rich taste. The almond croissant, in particular, was satisfyingly heavy. The pain au chocolat, with cocoa powder and dark chocolate, was also well-executed. The basic croissant, which I imagined would have been greasy, didn't seem compatible with the coffee I ordered, which seemed a bit expensive but was made with premium Fritz beans.
The coffee is delicious. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I keep making the mistake of walking there on those days. Haha, I forget every time.
The restaurant is clean, spacious, stylish and the bread is delicious. The owner is very friendly and hospitable.
Had different cakes and ice cappucino, coffee quality is good. And i can see they have bakery in the bag where they bake everything themselves, if you go here, i recommend their chocolat coated pain au chocalat. Soooo good with a rich chocolat taste and the right amount of sweetness. The service was also kind and good. And the interior was minimalistic and had a good atmosphere.
