A kind of pre-space or There is no reception when you arrive as a guest of accommodation. You stand immediately in the middle of the guest room with its mbäck and are patterned by the above-described gentlemen, which is rather unpleasant. Cleanliness in the room was OK. On the other hand, the lunch was about approx. 6 Euro was quite cheap but not good taste. So the potato was so soft that they were almost to be labeled as porridge and without salt. The red herb was apparently from the can on the plate. The broccoli was cooked dead and probably covered with a finished sauce from the tetrapak. For breakfast, everyone has to pay 5 euros. In other words, at 4 people 20 euros for this you get five bright rolls, 2 slices of salami, 2 letters of cheese, 2 slices of beer ham and the small portions of jam 5.5 cups of coffee. Conclusion: NO SECOND MAL!!!
I made a reservation and went there last week Saturday. When we arrived and waited at the entrance, the staff completely ignored us. They just walked by us like we weren't even there. We finally approached one of the employees to ask if and where we could sit. We received the irresistible answer, and we actually went after that. Didn't even get the chance to eat there because. It was the first time in the 2 years of being in Germany that I had received such a terrible and involuntary service from a restaurant.
Old beer and food restaurant in the center of the city. Best local and regional cuisine with delicious and various Thuringia meals. Recommendation: Thüringer Klößen mit Roulade or Thüringer Rostbratwürste. Good prices and very friendly staff.
I went here for lunch with friends last week. The restaurant itself is really cool, lots of neat decorations that I'm sure go back centuries. But the food was pretty bad. I had the schnitzel, and while it was very filling, the taste was pretty...bad. It might have been frozen and reheated. I think it's definitely worth going to this place to see the inside and experience it, but not worth paying for the food (at least what I had). Stick with drinks.
The building is historic and has a lot of character but the food was disappointing. Gave the impression that the food was food service quality, I.e. institutional. Stop in for a coffee or a pint to enjoy the ambiance but eat elsewhere
