Zur Weintraube - Jena

The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the house made unfiltered beer quite nice.Even the dessert was nice and home made.I would rate this restaurant as the best overall that we ate in in Jena. The cream horseradish sauce pork knuckle was very nice.

Perhaps one of the best Fried Trout in Butter and Potato. If you are near this Restaurant, please try it. worth every cent.

Handy for the nearby big hotel (Quality Hotel / Best Western), and on the way to the tram terminus.Once just a pub, but much-rebuilt several years ago, and now a substantial undertaking.Haven't stayed there, but have spent very many convivial and well-fed evenings there, where the food was invariable excellent, both in quality and value and the staff pleasant and efficicient.No need to hit the city centre if you're near the Zur Weintraube !

Was looking for authentic Thuringian food in Jena. Alresdy had tried inn Grune. This place lived until his reputation.. Great food. Only problem... elementary English..

I needed an overnight stay for a further education in Jena. I didn't want a big hotel with a matching flair, I wanted a little more cozy. I found this in the grapes. And the delicious food, the friendly treatment. I can only recommend it.
