Caffe Viale - Jennings Lodge

Honey-cardamom latte was ok but steadily waned in pleasantness as i got more and more cardamom bits in each sip. I'd suggest using pure honey and grinding fresh cardamom into a fine powder so the grittiness doesn't become an issue. The hazelnut mocha was ok, but I didn't like the syrup much. The cinnamon bliss latte was thebest, tasted like ice cream.

Excellent croissants, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and mocha. Friendly service. Will be back next time I'm in Portland.

Don 't miss ordering the Pernigotti mocha. Even if you don 't like mochas you 'll be surprised! They also have a from scratch egg sandwich called a toasty that is satisfying, especially on wheat.

My office is in the building. 5 star not because of the coffee (its actually pretty dang meh but because everyone that works here rocks!

Great place for a nice latte. You may not be able to stay there for a long time but the quality is there to be experienced!
