Dimo’s Apizza - Jennings Lodge

During the 48min I waited and watched several people people come in place order and leave with it. Customer serviced sucked. Doubtful I go back, hopefully it’s tasty.

Honestly, I want to give less stars, but I’ll say that 2 of them are extra for the effort put in. I’m from New Haven — and I didn’t even realize this place was claiming New Haven style until after I ate it! I got excited because it has the look for sure. I got a cheese pizza, it was EXTREMELY salty. I love a well done pie, but this was burnt crisp, dry, and difficult to eat. All I could taste was salt. Do NOT sleep on this place. Born and raised in CT, just moved here from New Haven — this pizza is AMAZING! Hilarious at the people commenting that the crust is “burnt”, nahhh, that's CT wood fired/charred pizza baby!! I recommend asking for it burnt, its like the crispy bacon of pizza doughs. Grew up near New Haven, lived in Italy, I know pizza well. On that scale Dino's is good — not great but quite good. Crust is excellent, sauce is pretty good, but they don't apply enough. I would have given them one more star but staff has a bit too much attitude, even for New Haven.

I’m indifferent. Crust is tasty but so hard to eat I couldn’t chew through it. I love crispy but there’s a difference between that and what I just tried to chew. Also, for the price where are the toppings? I basically had cheese and a few vegetables, little to no sauce
