We have ordered sausages and some eggs with potatoes, ham and onion bounced very well. high quality product and processing. highly recommended.
If you book at the last minute you are listed and you will have to wait on the street to call by order of arrival. all very rich. to highlight the adobo in squares.
Venta estaban benefits from being in close proximity to Jerez racetrack and all the racing teams come here for dinner when they are in town. The evening we went for dinner was one of those times, the place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. Despite this service and quality did not suffer at all, they are a well oiled machine with a very hands on manager and staff that have worked there for years. We had all our usual favourites, patatas aliñadas, tortlillas de camarones, wild Sanlucar prawns, then a fresh artichoke dish for me and presa ibérico with salmorejo for him. All the dishes were wonderfully cooked and came promptly despite the restaurant being so busy. Prices here for food and wine are incredibly reasonable too considering the quality of the ingredients and preparation involved. This is one of the best restaurants in this area for trying traditional regional Spanish dishes.

Our waiter at the hotel recommended this local restaurant and its location next to the service station is distracting at first but we found the bar full of locals having tapas and a real buzz about the place. We arrived at 8:30 and were the first ones in the restaurant but within 20 minutes it was full. The food was well presented and very tasty, I had swordfish as a main which was lovely and my wife had prawns to start followed by red mullet which she loved. The service was attentive and friendly the atmosphere welcoming and the food first class, we'll go back soon.
