Argo's Deli Liquors - Jersey City

These people tried to charge me a minimum to use my debit card. I have sicne reported them to Visa, and they will be launching an investigation on this merchant.

I go to Argo's almost every day to get breakfast. Its really the only deli close to work. Their is another deli a little further down but it looks like a crack house bodega. But I digress. They have pretty good bagels but the guy who works behind the counter is pretty d and screws up my bagel order half the time even though I am a regular. It is pretty cheap though. The older Indian lady who makes coffee is extremely stupid and doesn't speak a word of English. She also sometimes forgets to put the cap on tight enough. The younger Indian lady who works there does a pretty good job organizing the place and getting her staff not to screw up. She sometimes gets on my nerves but overall she is tolerable. They have a pretty good assortment of liquor actually now that I think about it. That's about it. It's a deli review. I hope you weren't expecting Shakespeare or Robert Frost LOL

Rude worker or owner, bad customer service and racist for the community. pity that they can not put any negative stars for their assessment.

Smells like wet cats and they follow you to the store that is bad business and the prices are not worth it, it is too expensive

Stay Away!!! Worst Deli in the EARTH!!! This is by so far the worst deli I've ever been to, the Indian guy that they just hired I couldn't understand him at all, the arrogant girl working there has always an attitude. These people don't respect and hate their clienteles, they have no idea of how to service the community surrounding them or businesses. I am sure if a health inspector pay them a visit he will definitely shut their doors for good, if you look around the store is dust the smell it stinks...I am sure they have rats running all around the store. The Wine bottles has a thick sticky layer of cooking oil that accumulated year after year, none of them bother to wipe the store or clean, they are used to that probably their culture.
