The soup dumpling with crab were also good though some of the dumplings lost some of their interior soup. The dipping sauce does not come with Julianne ginger not a deal breaker. Pork and shrimp wonton dumpling are good and filling. The congee with lean pork and black egg is not a full quart size. It is half a quart size which was disappointing. There was not a lot of lean pork or egg. I do not recommend this for the price. Genuinely impressed with this restaurant and recommend it for the noodle soup and dumplings.
The Chinese food is good and tastes very genuine. I am giving 4 stars because they are not really efficient I waited quite a while for my food. Also the Chinese fried dough should come with the soy milk because they are the perfect match! But I waited for my soy milk : Fun fact: The owner I think) speaks a little bit Mandarin.
Have ordered from this place more times than I can count and it never disappoints. By far the best Chinese food in downtown JC. Must tries include the chili braised beef noodle soup, scallion pancake with chili pepper beef, and taro puff (the last two are pictured with the pork dumplings, which are good but wouldn 't say 'must try ' . Closest thing you 'll get to dim sum around here. It is a bit pricey for JC but until there 's another decent competitor, this is it.
Currently only doing take out and delivery but it was worth the walk. The soup dumplings are fantastic and the buns were just the right texture.
Came out on a Saturday night for east flour. there was a constant flow of people coming in and out, but the staffs managed everything well. the foods were very flavorful, and i loved the beef scallion pancake which had perfectly caramelized onion and fresh meat and veggies wrapped in. would definitely recommend this place!
