Golden Cicada Tavern - Jersey City

I visited the place with friends for Karaoke Thursday, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The waitstaff were attentive, and the drinks were reasonably priced. I can't comment on the food since we didn't eat there this time. I’m not sure if they were regulars, but if you happen to be there when Maureen is singing, she has an amazing voice and brings great energy!

Great location…located at the heart of Jersey city…close from Grove street path station…open air Bar… great service… limited choice of drinks…parking is a big problem… specially on weekends. Paid street parking available, used ParkMobile app to pay.

This lively bar features a roomy outdoor space in Jersey City, NJ. We all decided to try the margaritas, but I took it up a notch by ordering the jalapeño margarita. It was absolutely delicious, but fair warning: it packs a spicy punch!

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and music, although it can get a bit noisy if you sit outside. I ordered the Purple Rain drink along with corn and Cajun shrimp. I preferred the corn over the shrimp. Overall, the food and drinks are good and reasonably priced.

This restaurant boasts a fantastic location, inventive cocktails, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere that makes it the perfect summer spot to return to time and time again. The owners are locals from Jersey City, known for their other establishment, the Cliff in JC Heights. Plus, it’s heartwarming to know that Gary's grandfather served as a firefighter in town—what a wonderful legacy for Engine 3!
