Contribuisci feedbackThis is now my favorite brunch spot in Jersey City! We ordered a few items on Sunday morning and everything came incredibly quickly. The croissant French toasts were absolutely amazing - they truly changed my life! We were so impressed that we went back with some friends this week. I cannot recommend this place enough.
I have visited Jersey City many times but never noticed this place before. I was excited to grab a snack here. Upon arrival, I parked on the nearby street and entered the restaurant to find only outdoor seating available. The indoor space was quite small. A kind young lady informed me that the event only included a pastry and a barista drink of choice. I pointed out an error on the invite where it seemed like customers could choose any item, and she apologized for the confusion. I decided on the apple pastry and an iced green tea with honey, which she made to my liking. The tea was delicious and the pastry, while not chunky with apples, was still tasty. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in this area! I was pleasantly surprised to find such a good spot nearby. The outdoor patio is charmingly decorated with cleverly recycled vintage objects, which is brilliant! We tried a latte, mocha, and croissants. The mocha was overly sweet for my taste, as I prefer a subtle balance between coffee and hot chocolate in a good mocha (I will be sure to mention this to them next time). The croissants were slightly underbaked, as I prefer a golden crispy texture in a viennoiserie. Overall, I loved it! I'm happy to have discovered this little gem and definitely recommend it.
It's hard to find a good coffee that doesn't taste like a decaf. the cottage supplies! they make it fresh and offer a lot of healthy milk varieties (I am part of pistachios) the staff is very friendly, especially tammy! and of course, when they go, check out the cute gifts and backyard, also!
Rude owner. had a terrible visit to my first, they close the load with us on the backyard without leaving. I wrote a review of our experience and instead of an apology. the owner gave us the blame for the terrible experience and even wished us harm or bad karma for the bad review. the owner said we hadn't checked her hours. no one was their fault they locked up the caffe while we were on their garden without leaving. I would have stopped writing a review on their website, but wanting to hurt us because of their negligence and bringing us into a situation that is not safe too much. if they want to try, they just make sure to be safe! P.S. if you write a review that has 2 stars or less, they get a funny answer from the owner. good luck!
