Restaurang Jungle Thai - Joenkoeping

We decided to try out this restaurant based on a recommendation, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was not busy at all and the service was incredibly slow. After waiting for 50 minutes, we decided to leave and only pay for the beer we had ordered. The staff was rude and the food we received was of poor quality, with very small portions. For example, the spring rolls we ordered were priced at over SEK 90 and only came with two pieces, which were also burnt. To make matters worse, the owner of the restaurant had the audacity to comment on our review without even being present or acknowledging the negative experience we had. We will definitely not be returning to this establishment and the owner should be ashamed of the unprofessionalism displayed by their staff. The service was poor, the staff untrained, rude, and impolite, and the portion sizes were disappointingly small. It is doubtful that any amount of training could improve the overall experience at this so-called restaurant.

Is it a 2 or a 3? After experiencing the ambiance of running water and jungle sounds, it's clear you either love it or you don't. The restaurant is unique and atmospheric, but not enough to make up for its shortcomings. The service was overly attentive and reminded me multiple times of their closing time at 10:00 pm, even though it was only 9:00 pm. I felt rushed to finish my meal before being asked to leave, unsure if I could take my food with me. I started with spring rolls, received an amuse bouche of a mini spring roll, followed by a larger but lackluster spring roll for my starter. The main course, chicken and cashew nuts, was decent but lacked the aromatic flavors of Thai cuisine. The chicken was accompanied by a huge portion of rice. The meal ended with a fortune cookie, whose message I couldn't read as it was in Swedish. Overall, a mixed experience with some positives but ultimately falling short.

Pad thai! yes! it is very good! I ordered a takeaway and had a small chat with the owner. coming from Southeast Asia itself, this is a great desolate! and according to the owner's details, the cook from chiang mai is where the original pad thai came. I will definitely visit again when I get back there

Very cozy place with fantastic eating. the staff is very friendly and helpful. we stopped too late, just drove through jönköping on a road trip. but they made sure we get no stress food. as a vegan I didn't expect too many options, but they could make almost every dish vegan. the good was very tasty, and the presentation was great. I would definitely come back!

Very friendly staff, cozy vibes inside and nice eating! enough vegan and vegetarian options. the chairs are also very comfortable, love it. the only thing was that the music was a little loud.
