Crazy Tomato Pizza Pasta Salads Subs

We recently relocated from New Jersey to Eastern Tennessee, and the one thing we truly miss is the pizza. Upon arriving in Tennessee, we tried some truly terrible pizza that locals raved about, and we lost all hope. That was until we found ourselves in Johnson City today, desperately searching for any pizza place that seemed promising. That's when we came across Crazy Tomato. Admittedly, we were skeptical, but wow—I'm not exaggerating when I say their pizza exceeded the quality of some places back in New Jersey. It was astonishing, especially since my wife and I had resigned ourselves to the idea that we might never enjoy great pizza again. But it was genuinely fantastic. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious, and the sausage topping was not only tasty but also generously portioned. To top it off, the owner warmly welcomed us as we stepped inside, and our waitress, whose name I didn’t catch, was very friendly too. The exterior may not radiate an "EAT HERE" vibe, but I assure you, you won’t regret trying their pizza. It seems we’ve found our new favorite spot! Even though it’s about 45 minutes from where we live, the drive is absolutely worth it!

The sweetest couple own/run this place. The food was delicious and inexpensive. The service was great and kind. I stopped in for lunch on my way from KC to Bakersville NC. Will definitely make this a regular stop each time I visit Johnson City. Fantastic!

The pizza was tasty, but not the best I've had in town. The restaurant itself wasn't to my liking; it felt very small and old, and could definitely use some updates.

I won't be returning to this restaurant. It really needs to be closed down. The place is dirty, outdated, and the boxed pasta is overpriced.

Great lunch! I had just about forgot about this place, it's so snuggled in a corner. Driving to Walgreens and seen it, heard it calling my name!!!! I love Pizza! Came here for lunch, got a stuffed tomato, and combo pizza! It was great! I love the pizza crust here! Everything was hot and fresh . Service is wonderful also! Tracy was amazing I will be back.
