Knight's Food Sports - Johnson City

The pizzas were huge and smelled great, but sadly, they lacked flavor. The sauce on the cheese pizza tasted like plain tomato juice, and the garlic sauce on the steak pizza was virtually non-existent. Both pizzas were dry and overcooked. It's hard to mess up pizza, but Knight's Pizza somehow managed to do so. I’m not sure I’ll be able to enjoy pizza again without some serious therapy!

This pizza is fantastic! The six-cheese option is huge at 26 inches. The sauce has a wonderful flavor. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10. You won't be disappointed!

I used to think that Knight's Pizza was the best pizza in the Tri Cities. Well, that changed, downward, on my last visit. The service was awful, the dishes were greasy upon arrival, and the pizza was sub-par. Crust was thin and almost tasted like a Matza with little sauce or cheese on it. Better pizzas can be bought at your grocery stores freezer section. Almost forgot, the beer that was on tap, tasted as though it was on tap for sometime. The employees spend way too much time on their cell phones in plain view of the clientele. Will never make a return trip. Gave it two stars because it used to be much better.

Great casual pizza place! All gave it 4 stars. Two pizzas, Hawaiian and steak. Both good. And a ham and cheese Stromboli was good too. Atmosphere is laid back and really pleasant. Great food!

Knights has alot going for it. This place has been open for a long time and about 3 years ago .. maybe 4 .. time flys .. they did a rebranding due to a problem with the franchise and become independent which is great!!! They also added 50 taps of mainly craft beer and about 10 50 inch screens for sports fans. All of this was a great improvement and bravo for that!! Being right below the university is great for the students although of late I see less students than I used to. Not sure the reason other than maybe allot more choices. If I were to give a rating just for the bartenders, manager and servers this place would be a five!! Must have been there for years and they are all wonderful. But I have to be fair compared to the other places I review thus I think Knights is as it should be but could have much better food. Some menu items are really great I love the subs and the wings all very good. But this is a pizza place with so many great options and for that I would say it is good but not outstanding. I know Scott the owner for years and he will be disappointed but just being fair .. It is good pizza but in my opinion it could be much better. Don't let that stop you from dropping by tho .. it is a great place.. has an outdoor area as well. Great beer and really cool people with a chill vibe. So drop by and enjoy!!!
