Sahib Indian Cuisine - Johnson City

This is the best restaurant in town! They have a unique twist on several dishes, and I've never been disappointed. I've been coming here for years, and it's wonderful to see the same staff—they genuinely seem to enjoy their work and are always very kind. The buffet is an excellent deal; my only complaint is that they never serve chicken curry. I highly recommend trying the chicken tikka masala, especially if it's your first visit. The vindaloo is fantastic, and the biryani is just as good as you'll find anywhere else. Be sure to try the mulligatawny soup as well!

One of the best Indian restaurants in Tennessee! The spice level was fantastic; it's sometimes difficult to specify how spicy you want your dishes at Indian restaurants. I enjoy a good amount of heat, but not overwhelmingly so, and this place hit the mark perfectly. The chicken tikka was incredible—seriously, just look at the photos! I did miss the mixed vegetable pickles; perhaps they had them, but I couldn't locate them on the menu. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the naan and papad were both outstanding. Plus, they had a well-stocked bar, which is a nice bonus I've rarely seen at Indian restaurants.

We chose to take a break from our usual Christmas dinner this year. We were pleasantly surprised by the quick service; the staff was attentive, and my water glass was always filled. The atmosphere was cozy, featuring a nice mix of seasonal and Indian music. None of our dishes were overly spicy, but I’m confident they can add extra heat if you ask for it. I'm certain we’ll return.

This restaurant is an ideal Indian spot! It boasts a fantastic location with an outdoor terrace, a fully stocked bar, and plenty of seating. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-organized. The buffet was delicious, especially the chili shrimp, potatoes, and curry marsala chicken. The restroom was also clean and well-maintained. Additionally, they offer a drive-thru service. It was a wonderful find right near the ETSU campus!
