The Dogwood Cafe At 27 - Johnson City

I ate here today for the first time. We were a group of six; some ordered breakfast and some ordered lunch. Two of us ordered the 1/2 pound cheeseburger, which came with LTMO. Sides like fries are Ala carte. Although my burger was not cooked as I'd requested, it was still very good. The tasty fries were a thick, crinkle cut.Two of the members of our group each ordered a pancake, which was the size of a large dinner plate. One ordered an omelet, and another ordered eggs with sausage and bacon. I was told by all of them that their food was delicious.The service was very good, with one of the servers being the owner's mom. Food does come out a little slower here than some places, because everything (including the pancakes) is pan-cooked. They don't have a grill surface.We had a lovely experience and will be happy to eat here again.

Great new place to grab a bite. Ended up having breakfast for lunch, which I often like to do. Very good and recommend you give them a try. I'll upload a better breakfast photo next time I'm there. I'm betting the menu will expand as they grow.

The family that runs this place is so sweet and the food was great! The food took a little bit to come out but it was delicious and freshly made to order. The pancakes were really good and I'd definitely get them again.

Thank you for a good breakfast, not too many reviews for breakfast, so here is one for the books. My wife loved the fresh flaky biscuits and I loved the omelette. Will be back here again.

Went for breakfast today, first time to visit. Closed for vacation. Would be nice to post if you are closed.
