The Johnstown Inn

I recently hosted a large group here for a confirmation and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with clean, modern decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We had a separate section for our party of 20, which was perfect. Jamie was incredibly helpful and accommodating, creating menus with a variety of options for us. The food was delicious with generous portions that were piping hot and fresh. The service was excellent, with a special mention to Alex who ensured everything ran smoothly for us. Many guests even commented on how good the service was. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable. Overall, the Johnstown Inn was a great success, offering a beautiful setting, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. Thank you for a wonderful day!

My husband and I came here for Sunday lunch. We both decided to order the cod dish. The portions of fish were surprisingly small, accompanied by a small serving of mashed potatoes and fried leeks as a vegetable. We found it disappointing, especially considering the high price of €21.95. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

We stop off here 4/5 times a year travelling between Cork and Belfast or visa versa. It doesn't matter if it's busy or quiet, the food is always very good, fairly reasonable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Never been disappointed, will continue to visit when it suits us.

Food is decent drinks are perfect it's the right place for pub grub and drinks for friends and family and couples. The staff are very helpful

Easy to access from the highway, convenient parking, and delicious food. The service was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
