Ghostwriter Public House - Johnstown

Trendy gem with nice array of options. We've enjoyed a couple date nights there and have been very pleased--this place is always high on going out list.

This was my first time here, and my wife's second time. It lived up to, and exceeded the hype. Amazing food, atmosphere, service, and experience. Our server Leah was incredibly nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. We cannot recommend this place enough. Make reservations and go!

Great food, great service and a fun spot to relax with friends. On top of the main course being great the Cheese Curds were the best I have ever had! Deviled Eggs were also amazing.

Arrived 20 minutes prior to our reservation and got seated immediately. Alaina's input was helpful in deciding what to choose to eat. Everything was amazing from the appetizers, main course, and desserts. I will definitely stop at the restaurant when visiting again!

Intel, Google, Facebook prices for folks of Johnstown, OH.Limited menu, way overpriced for portions. Food was very good, but cannot justify a return trip based on location and high prices. Kitchen seems to be aiming for the Cameron Mitchell style. 50 dollar ribeye? 38 dollar chop?Service was slightly above average.Johnstown isn 't where I go for 12 to 14 dollar glasses of wine or an old fashioned.My 18 dollar pastrami sandwich had less meat than what you get at subway. Wife 's 18 dollar smashburger was two mini beef patties that you could only see when we removed the top bun. The cheese curd appetizer was delicious, but again cost vs portion out of whack.2 light beers and a cider, a cheese curd appetizer, a pastrami sandwich and a smashburger...with 12 dollar tip was 90 bucks.Glad we tried, but won 't be back. If I 'm paying for atmosphere, it 'll be in the Caribbean. If I 'm paying someone 's lease, it 'll be my own.
