The Fish Boat - Johnstown

Hidden over this place by chance and thought it looked interesting. We ordered the soup of the day (cream of the crab and the fish bowl. AmazIng! Fresh, hot, cooked to order. I and my two little ones enjoyed it. The best chips! Thank you.

The food was made fresh when u placed ur order the place was very clean the food reasonable price and was wonderful

Owner is fantastic. Food was ok, but what the food lacked in taste, the owner made himself for the service. We were on the move so that it had never been there so that my opinion might not be the best.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!!! My whole experience was terrible! I called an order, and the lady was very rude and rushed. When I arrived there to pick up my order, the employees approach each other and if they smile, I think their faces could be cracked! I was boiled because I was there 10 minutes early to pick up my order, I asked if I could pay and wait and got a stance on it. While I waited, a poor old man went to the counter and looked at the menu... the man I suspect is the owner.... plucked and he and naked SPEAK! The 3 employees were rude to any customer who came in. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I have never experienced customer service in my life! To make even worse... the food was TERRIBLE!!!! I have chicken pliers, pommes and Mac cheese. I received 3 tiny deals, a hearty little cup of Mac cheese and a few undercooked pommes. My employees have the fish sandwiches. They were small and I asked for tartaric acid sauce we didn't get. Save time and dignity and visit this place NOT!!!

The food was ok. Very interesting fried oysters pictured below. The staff was amazing and deserve 5 stars. The reason I gave 1 star is because when I asked where the oysters were from the owner said why do you want to know . I said I was curious, so the owner in a very condescending way said east coast and walked away. Definitely won 't be coming back.
