(Now the border is open) The herb duck was lovely and the hot plate Tofu was also quite brilliant. You don't have to wait long for your food. Hands down 5/5
When I arrived on Monday at 11.30 a.m., the Q moved fast and got a table for 2. The food is great, very tasty duck and charsiew. I really like the noodles, but I think the meat is v aromatic and would be great with rice. When we went to 1:00 at 12.30, the duck was sold out. If you are ready to go, you can skip the Q.
Typical local coffee shop house layout, their signboard a bit run down and from outside you may not able to find the shop if you do not see careful. We ordered their roasted duck with angelica herb and char siu and roasted pork for try. The duck meat is soft and go with the herb tasted good nice, You may find herb sweetness when you eat. For the char siu is nicely roasted with honey. Strongly recommend to try it.
Visited this place years ago before Covid and now again post-Covid. Standards are still pretty much the same imo: Roast duck (88 RM) is still as herbalicious and delicious as ever, and always pairs well with the savoury gravy! Only downside is that the portion for the char siew and roast pork platter is pretty small for 20 RM.
Very nice Dang GUI Duck and Roast pork cum Char Siew! Worth the wait if you are here during lunch time! Parking can be an issue as there are limited parking lots outside the restaurant!
