Went for nostalgia this past weekend. The first time my husband met my Dad was here. My Dad has since passed and we spent the anniversary of us meeting by going to dinner here. Did NOT disappoint. We got a sausage pizza and I also got a dinner salad. Was so good and they have one of my favorite crusts in the area. Looking forward to our next visit.

Thursday evening visit. Parking ok, but can be tight. Overall appearance is clean and inviting. Let me open by saying our server was outstanding. She covered the entire dining room without a problem. We went with a thin sausage and mushroom. Wife felt the sauce was a bit skimpy. Pizza appearance was perfect. Served hot out of the oven. Flavors, textures and composition was right on for a Chicago style tavern pizza. Beverages served cold and refill restock was never an issue. Locally (Joliet), a good choice.

Everything on the menu is good! Friendly staff, lots of choices. **** Mary is killer! They have a special recipe for their sausage and it's one of the best I've ever had. They have games for both kids and adults. I grew up in this neighborhood and this place is one of the things I missed when I lived out of state.

The pizza was excellent! I highly recommend the thin crust and deep dish options. It's a good spot to grab a beer and some food. We will definitely be returning!

It's was okay. Felt cool like our old basement but the pie wasn't as good as expected. The garlic sticks were delicious
