An old-fashioned hotel with a 70-80 feel, but good value for money. the rooms are clean, the service is good, breakfast ok.
I give this hotel a 5-star rating based on the breakfast. It is the only hotel I have stayed at in Europe that offers something close to an intercontinental breakfast. Instead of the usual European fare of broth, muesli, yogurt, cheese, a few cold cuts, and maybe some cornflakes if you're lucky, this hotel goes above and beyond. Another great aspect was the complimentary coffee in the lobby, along with cookies and a small pool table. The room amenities were what you would expect - comfortable beds, hot showers, and clean rooms. The only downside was that there was no safe in the room. Overall, it was a perfect place for a one-night stay in the city. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from public transport and hiking trails.
I have been here for a week and, while the rooms could be improved, the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff makes up for it. Unfortunately, the rooms do not include a refrigerator, the bathroom only has a bathtub, and the Wi-Fi connection is inconsistent. Despite these drawbacks, I would still recommend this place as the staff is welcoming and discreet. The breakfast buffet also receives a rating of 8 out of 10.
Exceptionally nice staff that helped us repair our room with two extra beds. always smiling attitude. the room was larger than average and we found it very comfortable. the breakfast is plentiful and feels fresh. the private garage for 95kr/night is a lavish total we were pleasantly surprised and will certainly come back the only one is that the owners should update the outer look as there is the wrong first impression of the hotel!
