Delicious Indian food with affordable prices. The Indian dishes which are offered during lunch buffet are more adjusted for the Swedish taste, meaning that they are not as spicy as they should or would be. If you want to avoid many other guests during lunch, be there before 12 pm or after 1 pm. They also have a good variety of delicious dishes in the a la carte menu, but the portions are not so big if you buy them for take away.
This is a good place to go for lunch. The buffet offers great flavours that go well together and the staff is friendly. The seating is comfortable and the interior sets a nice mood.
We wanted some Indian food after too many fast food lunches and dinners during the previous days. Jonköping was in the right place and Tandoori Palace the only Indian restaurant known to our navigation system. So we paid a visit and it was well worth the stop. The restaurant is clean (although there terrace was crowded by people enjoying their afternoon beers) and the food is decent. I am not able to tell how authentic it is, but it worked for our kids. Most likely the dishes are twisted towards the European customers. The rice was good, the naan bread was a slight disappointment and the chicken and dal dishes ok.
Good range of tasty, hot and fresh dishes to suit all palates with an all you can eat buffet at lunchtime.
