Decent fish and chips but cash only???. We decided upon fish and chips 2 Friday's ago as my wife was too tired to cook, and she suggested Candlewood Fish and Chips based on good reviews we had heard. I ordered the combo 3 meal which was 4 pieces of Hake, 4 dimsims, 2 crabsticks and 3 scoops of chips for $45.00 which is not bad value. I opted to add a Kiwi hot dog to the order which bought the total to just under $50.00, not bad to feed a family of 3 adults and 2 kids. After we got home and unwrapped it all I found 3 crabsticks and about 7 pieces of fish which was a bit of a surprise. The XL beef pie was not XL at all, i thought it was going to be noticeably larger for $8.50, the filling was pretty bland and nothing about it screamed home made, i doubt we will be back.
