Outback Steakhouse - Joplin

Second time in the last week eating here. We got steaks both times. Steaks were cooked perfectly both times. I order rare and my wife orders medium rare. We have been to all the steakhouses in Joplin and the only one that has been able to properly cook our steaks is Outback. And they have been consistent every time we go! Don’t loose whoever is in the kitchen making those steaks!Our server Jake T was very nice and did an excellent job waiting on our table! He checked on us in appropriate intervals and made sure we were happy with everything.Something we noticed is how clean their dining room is. Their blinds and light fixtures above the tables were free of dust both times we went. They obviously take pride in cleanliness.We will definitely be returning in a week!

Not impressed...again. First visit in several years, and it doesn't seem like anything has changed. I took my daughter to dinner, we both ordered the sirloin and ribs. I order my steak medium, she ordered medium rare. When it arrives, it turns out to be plated wrong. (We ordered different sides. We trade steaks, and eat. This had to be the toughest and most tasteless sirloinI have ever eaten. We get through that and move on to the ribs. Again, not much meat on them, and they're a bit tougher than ribs I'm used to eating. I made it through a few of them. My daughter didn't make it through one rib. We just boxed the leftovers up and brought them home for our dogs. For the money spent here, just under $100 for the 2 of us, I certainly expected better quality meats.Otherwise, the service was great. Our waitress did an excellent job, so no complaints there. Still, I doubt that we'll ever return to Outback, as there's several other steakhouse options in Joplin that are much better, and cost less.

I went with my dad tonight (December 30th) and I have to say, for the price of the food I expected it to taste better and be of better quality. It lacked flavor. I ordered the steak and ribs medium rare with french fries and a baked potato, my dad ordered the same but his steak was supposed to be medium and a double order of fries. I ended up getting the medium steak (no big deal we swapped steaks) I ate a bite of the medium steak before the swap and it was the TOUGHEST steak I've ever eaten. Both steaks lacked any seasoning/flavor. The fries and baked potato were good but the ribs were absolutely awful in my opinion. We also got the blooming onion... It was ok but certainly not worth the $10 price tag. The steak and ribs meal was $25.99 and that was definitely not worth it, I took one bite of the ribs and I couldn't finish them. The service was great but the food is definitely lacking. I don't think we will be going back.

Received order on time, but Grubhub driver left order in front of hotel for and never knocked, just got notification on the phone that the food was delivered. Upon checking order, there was no honey mustard sauce for the chicken tenders. Nice and dry chicken tenders with no sauce. Grilled chicken very over seasoned.

Had a 6 oz sirloin medium rare, wonderful summer fresh vegetables, and of course the pumpernickel bread! Service was fantastic.. and the Hostess was one of the best ones we've ever had. . She had an overabundance of positive personality! And it was well shared. ,
