Sam’s Market - Josephine County

I always go here now! Lil Pantry in Merlin is just horrid! The employees here Sam’s are always the best! It’s worth the extra distance!!!!!

Real simple here. I do not like being ripped off. My wife and I stopped in for a couple of sodas yesterday. The price on the cooler door clearly stated 2 for 3.50. I expected the total bill to be 3.70 as Oregon has a .10 per bottle deposit. When I got ready to check out the clerk told me that the bill was a total of 4.30. I questioned him and he said that the computer said the cost was 2 for 3.95. Rather than have the clerk physically go and look, I said just let me pay and I will be on my way. When I finally got home and was looking over my receipt I also noticed that there was an additional .35 card fee. I used a credit card not a debit card. I was never told about this. In closing I did not like the tactics used by this store. I will make sure in the future that I insist that the clerk does their job. It is not a lot of money IT IS THE PRINCIPAL!!!!!!
