Julian Grille

Sometimes there are places so absolutely sweet and delicious that they stand out, like Julian Grille! This lovely cottage restaurant has a perfect setting in the mountains, friendly service, and yummy food. We'll be making the scenic drive to come back to the Julian Grille soon! My husband and I had lunch on Monday, Sept. 11th. It was delicious! We split the Reubens sandwich and sandwich and the meatball soup. Daniel was our waiter and he gave us each a small cup of soup and each of got a large open face sandwich! We were so surprised when he set our order down. It was as if we each had our own order of the soup and sandwich. The soup had a lot of flavor and the sandwich was so tasty! Overall we were extremely satisfied with our meal. Daniel was nice a d friendly. We would definitely eat h ere again when visiting Julian.

We made reservations for 5:00 PM and we were seated promptly. Excellent table overlooking the front Garden. Even though the place was packed by 5:30, the service was excellent. We choose the Steak and Lobster dinner special. Large Portions and the Steak and Lobster were cooked exactly the way we ordered. We overheard a few couples saying they came here every year from out of town. I know why.

Pleasant restaurant with nice patio. Enjoyed the chicken pot pie special. Usually my go to spot in Julian. Reasonably priced, good variety on menu.
