Mom's Pie House Julian

The layout and decoration of the restaurant were quite simple, but still great! The food quality was excellent, especially the apple crumb cake which was delicious. The cleanliness of the restaurant was spotless and the customer service from the staff was exceptional. The timeliness of the service was also impressive. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The only critique I have is that the layout and decoration could be a bit more interesting.

My family has been going to Julian Apple Pie Co. for years. We decided to try this place and regretted it completely. We should have read reviews before deciding to come here. They served us a cold torte with an extremely dry crust. Some apple slices still had the skin on, as no one bothered to peel them. The taste was terrible, very sour. If you're looking for a delicious, warm slice of pie, this is not the place to go. Julian Apple Pie Company offers better service, ambiance, and quality of pie. I couldn't even finish one slice of the two we ordered.

We came by to get a contract for the next day. service could have been much more efficient, but I got the dumplings and they were worth waiting.

Apple Crumb Pie. This is a classic and just perfect in every way. This place has a variety of pies if this one isn't your style.

BEST PIE...EVER!! Took eight additional pies home to give to family/ friends. Yes it was that good! There is a Mom's in downtown Julian however, we prefer the Wynola location since parking is so much easier.
