Nickel Beer Company - Julian

I've tried 4 different beers at this place. They are all good. 6.50 for a craft pint is pretty decent up this tourist spot. They don't really have food, so I brought a Fat Anthony sub from Julian with me this last time and paired it with a pint of Back Country Ale. Pretty damn good. Plus you get to enjoy it outside with the misters on and some shade. Great place.

Pass by often, today was the day to stop and partake. Jalapeño Gold Lauger, oh my that was incredible! Great to see the selection isn't overrun by IPA's. Makes it far easier to come back and enjoy an actual selection. Looking forward to it!

Great brewery hidden in plain sight. Nickel has been and will be my go-to in Julian. Always a great selection of beer and always fresh.

Love this place. The beers were unique and flavorful Tom and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I’m traveling with my family from the east coast and heard great things about this place was not disappointed. The blood orange pepper beer is probably the best “spicy” beer I’ve had the porter was caramely and delicious. Absolute must to check this place out if you’re in the area!
