So we could have a vegan Caesar salad, a spinach nut salad and perhaps the best chili we have ever. If you drive along hwy 395 near mono lake or mammoth, you drive to epic cafe for an excellent meal.
This place was very busy, but somehow they were in the position to sit and serve all with great efficiency and love to detail. I had the brown rice dish with tofu-great taste and a lot of food.
They serve definitiw meat and milk, but the place has vegan options. I got her spinat, strawberry and walnut salad, I didn't ask her for a feta and added tofu. it was great and refreshing in a balsamic sauce. the caffe also seems to be an earthly device with composting and recycling. not easy to find because the internet reception is very limited in the opposite.
We had the Quinoa salad and a fabulous kartoffel dillsuppet. I wish they offered more choices, but the quality was great and a good start.
Had a few vegan options and they seemed knowledgeable. I had the quinoa salad.
