Flying Squirrel Espresso - Juneau

The staff at this restaurant was very friendly and personable. I could easily walk up to the drive-thru to get drinks and they were helpful in taking my order. The rose petal lemonade was delicious, although the other drinks were good but not the best I've ever had. Despite this, the restaurant was worth the mile-plus walk from my hotel, which I made twice.

Early in the morning, I picked up a mocha double espresso to wake me up. Hiking on Mt. Roberts Trailhead was on my to do list

The service at this restaurant is quick and the food is served hot. Although there may be a bit of a wait in line at times, it is worth it because the drinks are good and reasonably priced.

They have a few of these in Juneau and while we were there we drove through and got a few lattes on the way up to the Mendenhall Glacier. The service was friendly and fast. Out of all the coffee I had in Juneau, it was some of the better I had.

Great coffee, great service (a rarity in Juneau) and prices similar to the lower 48. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
