Lemon Tree Café - Juneau

Absolutely delightful! Today, it was a one-man show, and despite that, my food arrived quickly and was fantastic. The steamed bun was quite generous and had a wonderful blend of flavors without being overly spicy. The Old Friend Noodle soup featured a rich and surprisingly complex broth, and the meat slices were quite good. There were plenty of thin noodles, and it tasted great until the very last bite. The decor is simple and bright, with an eclectic mix of supplies scattered about, which adds a charming atmosphere to the place. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, curry chicken, and shrimp dumplings.

This hidden gem deserves more attention! The food is outstanding, and the vibe resembles that of a lively street food scene.

After a long day of whale watching and exploring Mendenhall Glacier, I was in the mood for some warm and comforting pho. We certainly chose the right spot. My chicken noodle soup was incredibly fragrant, served piping hot, and packed with flavor—there was an abundance of chicken! My husband ordered the spicy pork noodle soup and asked for additional spice. He remarked that it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. We’re thrilled to have discovered this family-owned café, which was just a short walk from our ship.

The last time I had lettuce in my pho was in Vietnam, and this place gets it just right. The broth is amazing. It's truly a hidden gem in a city filled with tourist traps.
