Papa Johns - Juneau

I had a chance to grab lunch on the go, and it was delicious carryout with a fantastic crust! It could use a bit more toppings, but overall, it's a great value!

Food is good and delivery service has been consistent until this evening. I don’t know what was going on with the driver. He pulled into the driveway, sat there until I walked out then seemed unable to back his truck out and nearly took the mailbox with him. The driveway is wide enough for 4 cars…He was leaving. I had to scream at him to get his attention. I literally had to walk up to his truck in the street and ask him if he was going to give me my order. He opened his door pulled out a red bag, opened it and handed me my order without saying one word then left. And I paid him a 20% tip in the order to boot. Last time I ever do that again and probably the last time I order from Papa Johns in Juneau.

After being a regular customer for the past year, disappointed is an understatement for my delivery this past Friday evening. I always order the same thing; small vegetarian with grilled chicken, Alfredo and added pineapple plus an order of buffalo wings. I always add a 20% tip for the driver as well. Before I even realized the pizza order was missing several ingredients, I had a very unpleasant experience with the driver. I was standing inside the open garage talking with family when the guy pulls up into the drive, then decides to back up, go forward, back up again and missed our mailbox by inches. The entire time I am standing there, in the rain, wondering what the h he was doing. The 3rd time he backed up he turned his wheel to go forward down the street. I screamed at him to stop. He looked at me, rolled his window down, then opened his door and pulled out the delivery bag with my order. In the middle of the street. He started to hand me the bag I told him I didn't want the bag... he laughed, pulled out my order and handed to me without saying a single word. Got back in his truck and took off. WTF.. I honestly think he was higher than a kite. I went inside, called Papa Johns and after awhile someone answered. I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was one of several. I told her what had just happened. She responded she would talk to the driver... no apology or offer to make up for it. I know Juneau restaurants are experiencing staffing shortages and a high number of sub par staff, but this was ridiculous. I will NEVER order from this store again.

Fast walk-in service with friendly staff even though I walked in at almost closing time. Quality pizza.

Excellent service! The pizza was prepared in just 10 minutes. They offer thin crust pizza, and there are plenty of vegetarian options available. I was able to customize my pizza with my choice of toppings, making it vegetarian and even vegan by skipping the cheese.
