The Salmon Spot - Juneau

This place is an attempt when in Juneau. There are all kinds of expensive greasy restaurants in the area and the Lachs Spot serves fresh, delicious foods such as salmon patties and Lachsburgers and Chowder. It is a food stand with some outside seats, but we highly recommend this place. A secret jewel in Juneau! A reasonable pricing.

It's really just a spot! In a place that is smaller than a container, but barely larger than a Ford F250, these girls whistle a limited set of ground salmon dishes from fish that probably in the sea only the day before. While super fresh an oh so delicious, I would have asked for my Lachsburger without the cheese, my taste buds prefer their fish without cheese, so my virgin tuna sans cheddar tastes... The baby salmon cakes are highly recommended, the burgers fantastic (grab a bunch of napkins from the stash under the parasols, you will thank me later), the chowder ok, skip the make it soft serve as swirls of the perfect pots is much harder than it looks and the ice softer than you want it to lick quickly.

Delicious salmon cake. I love the brown sauce that comes with her. Good laughter. Very reasonable price comparison with other food companies in Alaska. If you are in a hurry or do not care about the complete service restaurant, this is the place. A few steps from Red Dog Saloon and 5 minutes walk from the cruise ship shuttle or the base of Mount Roberts Tramway.

Delicious, simple and simple! There's a reason the line went along the block, but it was worth waiting. If they could only add more seats on the terrace!

There salmon burgers are very good. And, for Juneau, it is pretty reasonably priced.
