When people say their portions are large.... THEY ARE NOT KIDDING. you definitely get your moneys worth and the food is really good. I had the black rice and legume with beef. Growing up eating this type of food, it definitely reminded me of home. Would highly recommend. Only downside and it may have just been the day, I dont think they always take card so either bring cash or there is a barbershop two doors down with an atm inside that you can use to withdraw money and the barbers are completely fine with people coming in to do that. Guess it also helps draw business in for them too.

Big portions, but the food is terrible. My first time going in there too , the black bean sauce and white rice was not good at all. Going back to Alberts I guess.

I love the Hatian black rice I've had at other Hatian restaurants, but I was totally disappointed with this place have tried it twice.

This store sells outdated items in their refrigerated section. The lady at the lunch deli counter did not understand English and could not assist me with the item I wanted to purchase even though I showed her what it was. They need to hire experienced managers to run inventory on items and train their staff properly.
