Surrounding the restaurant is a large sun terrace, making it a delightful spot to dine during the summer months. They offer a buffet lunch from Tuesday to Friday, a buffet brunch on Sundays, as well as an a la carte menu and a variety of pastries served with coffee or tea. We enjoyed a glass of prosecco between museum visits and found the service to be very friendly. In addition, guests can visit the observation tower above the restaurant and the Natural History Museum of Central Finland on the street level for free.
The restaurant offers stunning views of Jyvaskyla and serves excellent food paired with high-quality wine. While it may be on the pricier side, it is well worth it for a special occasion. The staff, though efficient, could be a bit friendlier.
I think the place will be amazing in the summer. the lookout from the tower are great!
Great views of the city, and good food, but the service is really really slow around lunch. Had to wait an hour for the final course.
This is a unique food in Jyväskylä. The menu does not offer a variety of options, but they prove that less. All meals draw on Finnish Nordic cuisine, with high-quality and organic ingredients. The desert and cake options are among the best in the city. And the view is unique, the restaurant sits just a few levels below the view tower and on a clear day the whole Jyvaskyla and its surroundings can be observed.
