Hilltop Public House - Kadesh

This is a great gathering place or a good spot to work (with earphones). Staff was very friendly and welcoming. You can tell there are a lot of regulars, but they treat the first timers like they want them to become regulars. I can’t speak to the food because the first time I went to try to have lunch there was no food….i see they have a food truck and would love to try it but I’m unsure as to the hours.Parking: There is a parking lot in the back that holds about 7 and free street parking in the neighborhood

I've been here a few times with Montgomery Roller Derby. It's really a cool place, pretty chill atmosphere. I haven't tried the food yet... if they have food. The food truck out back is usually pretty good, though.

Fantastic coffee shop. How could you beat a coffee shop with draft beer, full bar, food (plus food truck), and a great bike repair shop? If I lived here, my wife would know where to find me....

Okay coffee and our server was nice. The atmosphere would have been really nice and relaxing if the music playing wasn’t so loud. ??

This is a vibrant local spot that I'm so glad I found! Folks behind the counter are knowledgeable about coffee and willing to chat about what they're doing and why. I stopped by initially to buy coffee for hotel use but came back on Saturday morning to get some work done in a third space. They delivered in spades. Thanks to a thoughtfully prepared Americano and a superb food truck partner (who even delivered inside the shop due to the cold snap! my morning was productive and enjoyable. I'll be back to see how their cocktail bar runs open mike and trivia nights!UPDATE: Cocktails are chill and enjoyable, with low-volume music so conversation isn't impeded. The crafters seem to use homemade syrup and they pour a very tasty, fragrant libation. Recommended!
