We went to Kahuku side after the beach and sooooo glad we saw this spot! If you're hungry for some good Polynesian food served Polynesian style with no empty spaces on your plate this is it! It's amazing to place your order and they have tables in a shaded area for you to enjoy your meal! As a Sāmoan woman who loves to cook I was excited to try their lamb curry! Their curry had the right amount of ratio with lamb and vegetables! The lamb was super soft with no bones and not gamy! The fries were too crunchy for me, but is definitely something that you need to try! Go check them out and #supportlocal Go say Hi to Ivy she was working the front when we went there and she was very sweet and gave us lots of information!
I liked the concept of this food truck. Taro is awesome in some many ways. Just not as fries, for me. I really enjoyed the taro bun on my burger and my patty was tasty. The burger was delicious! Tomato and lettuce was fresh, the aioli matched the burger well. If I find myself back on this side of the island and at Taro Hut again, I will try the Taro Hut special.. which got all the great reviews.
One of the best cheapest burgers in Kahuku. I got the bombucha burger and they did not disappoint. If you're looking for juicy and affordable burgers. Be sure to eat at Taro Hut.Also, Ida gave an awesome customer service too. If you need good recommendations, she is the way! Will be back for sure! ?
Ida recommended this place and the food was sooooo onooo!!! Had the spicy Hawaiian combo with their taro chips and palusami dip! Will come back again :
