The food was good, especially considering the limited options in this small town. They offer almond and oat milk as well.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I ordered a Bel-Luft-Burger, and the server was very understanding of my celiac requirements. They made sure the beef pattie was boiled in a separate pan instead of on the grill. Unfortunately, the gluten-free bungalow and pommes were boiled in the same frit as gluten, which was a bit disappointing. However, there were many gluten-free options to choose from on the menu. Overall, a cool spot with good food and accommodating service.
While passing through Kaikoura, we stopped at a restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and generously sized burgers.
The staff was knowledgeable about allergies but couldn't guarantee no cross contamination. Although the fries were labeled gluten-free, they were cooked in the same fryer as other gluten-containing items. We chose to order the nachos as they seemed to be the safest option.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! The portions were generous and the service was friendly. I ordered a Bel Air burger and was pleased that the server understood my Coeliac requirements. They cooked the beef patty in a separate pan instead of on the grill to avoid cross-contamination. Unfortunately, the gluten-free bun and fries were cooked in the same fryer as gluten, so I had to skip out on those. However, there were plenty of gluten-free options to choose from on the menu.
