I grilled the fish of the day (mahi) and it was very good dry with RAW garlic above. So much raw garlic? It was hard to eat. Almost made me wish I only got quick food instead of $27 (including tip) for something I had to force myself to eat. I appreciated that they left me a basic page salad instead of the Mac salad that they usually do on the whole island that I?m not a fan of. Maybe I should have stuck with the oxtail or what fried? It seems what most people enjoy here.
The first time to eat chubby? diner and it has not disappointed! my order: 1. furikake fries: the best furikake fries so far! absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. was huge! furikake was not only tipped on pommes, it was more embedded in the outside of the pommes and not simply dropped away as it was blown after. 2. oriental chicken salad with balsamvinaigrette: the Teriyaki chicken was tasteful and had the perfect amount of teriyaki. absolutely loved the balsamic dressing, wonder if this might be done in the house? they gave me the right amount of dressing on the side, so I could control how much was put on, which was a nice note. 3. Korean chicken wing with Hapa rice and mac salad: crispy and tasty! mac salat was also top notch. win us a solid amount wing at the price. total, deeelicious food, hefty portion, and all to great experience. very recommended! keep the great work, kumpels!
The food was so ono. Great portions and flavor beautiful presentation topped with the sights and sounds of the bowling alley and the game room.
Food was excellent, shocked to find good local food at an arcade but delicious. Staff was friendly, would recommend.
Chubbys is so unexpected?in a good way. Our hotel staff recommended it to us and we were skeptical pulling into the chubby?s parking lot, but yes, it is in a bowling alley/arcade! There are some booths for you to sit in or you can bowl and eat at the same time. We got The oxtail soup (must get), oxtail loco moco, and the pork and cabbage. All delicious but the oxtail soup?. Was exceptionally amazing. The broth is an explosion of flavor and the oxtail is perfectly stewed. Highly recommend!!!
