We don't go here often (because we don't get many date nights out ha), but when we do go it's always good. Our last waiter we had (I forgot his name), he was great! And my husband always comments on how good the pupus are.

They changed menus last week, this is a totally different J.R. !!! The price increase increased to a ridicules level for the quality and portions served. My wife and I ordered the duck salad and got some over fried batter with so overcooked something inside that was so small and tasteless as a result. We complained about it but Noone gave a darn! Noone offered to reduce or substitute! They just charged us full price with no apology! Been a resident full time for the past 23 years and never had such a disappointed meal!

Overall pretty good. Felt bad for the bartender, he was totally swamped and didn't seem to have any help. The edamame was fantastic!! I got the lobster ravioli, and it was surprisingly bland. My husband got the pork chop and said it was delicious.

A new menu, I often struggle with change! But all in all with the exception of a few sadly deleted entrees, especially their house side salad with their amazing pesto dressing I enjoyed an amazing dinner sitting at the bar served by Joey. I'll be back..., mahalo

After talking with the owner, he addressed our concerns and it sounds like our experience wasn't the norm. The food was good, and that martini is delicious. Happy to have another opportunity to experience this place and to have it be a lot better. We will be back.
