Bee Tea - Kailua

As soon as I walked into Bee Tea on my first visit, I was captivated by the decor and the artistic feature wall. It's a cute little shop that offers both unique and classic flavors, all of which are naturally sweetened with 100% pure honey—hence the "Bee" in Bee Tea. As someone who is always on the lookout for boba shops that offer alternative milks, I was thrilled to see they have coconut and almond options! I ordered the Taronator for my mom with lactose-free milk, and for myself, the White Out with coconut milk. The tapioca pearls were fresh and soft, and I could feel the satisfaction in my stomach as the flavors danced on my tongue. I knew right then that this would be my go-to boba shop whenever I’m in Kailua. In summary: Amazing flavors, naturally sweetened, fresh tapioca, and great prices for high-quality boba. I give it full stars for fantastic recommendations and excellent customer service!

I would say this place is good for what it offers. We only ordered a black milk tea (my usual choice when a place doesn’t have oolong) and their house lemonade. Their menu seems to focus on fruity drinks and shakes. The black milk tea, served at 50% sweetness, didn't have as much tea flavor as I would have liked. However, the honey boba was pleasantly chewy, which is a big plus since they seemed fresh rather than sitting around for a while. The lemonade was tasty and zesty, but keep in mind that they don’t seem able to adjust its sweetness. Overall, I would return if I'm in the area and looking for a reliable bubble tea spot, but personally, I prefer places that offer more traditional Asian toppings like pudding, grass jelly, and so on.

As for the service, ambiance, and parking, the interior is neat and clean, with eye-catching artwork on the walls that gives off a bit of a hipster vibe. Parking wasn't an issue either; we found street parking right nearby and walked over to the venue. It wasn’t too busy when we visited, so we didn’t have to search far for a spot. Overall, I would definitely return if I have the chance!

I ordered a coconut milk with pearls. It was a very good drink, but the next day when I finished the leftover, I realized the straw was plastic.I don't plan to patronize this business again until they switch to paper straw. Parking: parking is on the street along the curb.

Really good place! We had the signature lemonade with pineapple jelly, lemonade tea berry bliss and strawberry mango lemonade with pineapple jelly. All of them were absolutely fantastic. If you’re in the area give it a try. Recommended 100
