Contribuisci feedbackWe are two locals who frequent many Kailua restaurants, but our past three visits to Lucy's have ended in terrible disappointment. I was a server for 4 years in college, so I sympathize with wait staff. But, on our first occasion we overheard the wait staff complaining about how they wished they could go home. They proceeded to rush us out of the restaurant by not refilling our glasses, crumbing our table, and not prompting us to add a next course to our meal. It was only 8pm!
Absolutely phenomenal food and drinks. The tajin tamarind drink was soooo good had to order two. Amazing taste they go so fast. Also the sea red ahi salad recommended by the beautiful bartender, there was room and burst with taste. 110/10 would recommend as a stack to check.
We were thrilled to eat in this place because of the Rave reviews and eat Guy Fieri here. We ordered the two dishes on his show the Orange Duck Confit and Red Curry Fish. The dishes came out quickly and we soon realized that the curry we asked to be mild was extremely spicy and was at room temperature, while the rice was very warm. The duck seemed only slightly heated while the rice was also very warm. The juices (possibly sesame oil) of the Korean hover, which was bean sprouts, water cress and carrots, were sown in the main dish, which was a light orange sauce. Probably it would have been better to put the float on a separate court. Plantation iced tea did not seem that it was properly mixed with my first swallow was just the taste of tea. Service was great, but if you pay with a credit card, the servers have their personal credit card devices and they are basically just there and watch how much of a tip you leave for them.
We came to lunch and it was such a great place! The drinks were delicious, the food was amazing, and our waitress was so friendly and helpful. I can't believe I've never been here before and I'm back.
We had a delicious lunch in Uahi! We have the mushroom appetizers that are super delicious with bacon and parmesan. We also have the Korean Sirloin that came with the most delicious garlic-aioli sauce! The steak was not the best cut, but it had a good taste. The pineapple crawling dessert is incredible. Pa?a was also a big server. I definitely recommend it.
