Burgschanke - Kaiserslautern

We were last night as a family with state guests. I used to have been there over the years, but have noticed that the quality of the food, the portions and the service has decreased. we had some mistakes with our order and close to the table. we also had mistakes with their order. the salatbar had only available a few cut tomatoes, and the brot was served with butter, not the narrow they used to serve (we were told that this is now only available at the weekend). the female server was pleasant, but the man who can be the manager was arrogant to us. my man said we will not return to this restaurant and tonight our guests will push into a nice restaurant to make the bad meal yesterday evening. not a pleasant art to celebrate a 60th birthday meal.

Great visit and eating was amazing, the waiting staff was superior! we live in stuttgart and drove up to see my mother in law and wanted to take her out for lunch. this place has not disappointed! beautiful salatbar, great carving and great desert. get them. the fries or rossi, they are awesome

We stayed here for two nights on business in the local area. We were able to arrange everything over email beforehand, and the staff was fantastic. We arrived around 10am after flying overnight and there was no issue getting into our rooms right away. The...restaurant was great (both the pike perch and the truffle soup are outstanding) and the morning breakfast was very satisfying. The rooms were fairly basic but had a tv, phone, and fridge...and WiFi worked too. The hotel does have several buildings so you may not be in the main room if that matters. Overall very satisfied and would happily stay again.

Great service and friendly service. Breakfast and Dinner very nice. If you are visiting, perfect location. Parking no issues. Staff is outstanding. Highly recommend, if you are visiting Kaiserslautern.

The staff here were quite nice, however, the food was very disappointing. Appeared be packaged items (such as the spaetzle). Knowing German cuisine quite well we wanted to like this place, but just were very disapppointed. It would appear that this restaurant is geared for...Americans.
