As an added bonus, we returned the next day and tried the smoked salmon pizza, which was superb! It had a rich, delicious flavor and fresh ingredients. The quality was well worth the price, especially when compared to the value offered by fast food. I wanted to express my genuine thoughts in this review—no prompts involved. I'm simply sharing our honest experience to support this great establishment, so we can continue enjoying delicious food in smaller towns like Kaiteriteri.

The food was fantastic! I asked my partner to marry me on the beach, and she said yes. This is, without a doubt, the best place to enjoy a meal!

We were fortunate to visit this wonderful restaurant before the busy season began. With no other options in Kaiteriteri, these folks truly excelled. They offer gluten-free choices, delicious food that makes you want to come back for more, and a staff that is genuinely happy to serve and values your patronage. Plus, the deck has a great vibe! Our only complaint was the illuminated stage with a lonely guitar that wasn't put to use. It would have been great if they had asked Glenn Thorpe to play a set. Overall, we wholeheartedly give Beached Whale our stamp of approval! Rock on!

The staff were really nice and the food tasted great! Had the steak and it was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of mint. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Convenient restaurant by water, good for the family. Mussel noodle soup was delicious. They put the WWC game on for us and closed before it ended, but they let us watch the tv outside so we could finish the game so cool. Highly recommend a place with service like that!
