They also have sandwiches and desserts and at the... moment because (no food inside) they have some local ceramics/t-shirts jewelry available
We had a lovely coffee break at Metropolitan Moose and it was a fantastic choice! The surroundings were beautiful, the coffee was delicious, and the conversation was friendly. If you are in the Kakabeka Falls area, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Located in Kakabeka Falls, Ontario, this cozy restaurant offers beautiful views of the café. At first glance, the exterior may seem unassuming, but do not be fooled – the open sign indicates that the place is indeed open for business. Once inside, you will find a quaint space filled with tables and a small area for purchasing gifts or waiting in line for coffee or a meal. The menu boasts options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I highly recommend trying the Ruben Quesadilla, filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese – it was delicious. My dining companion opted for the chicken cheese sandwich, which was also tasty. Overall, this is a great spot for a quick and friendly lunch stop, with a welcoming owner who is happy to chat with customers.
I recently discovered a hidden gem while traveling, a place that instantly made me feel at home and wanting to return. This friendly café, owned by wonderful individuals, offers delicious coffee and snacks that you won't find in chain establishments. The atmosphere and hospitality here are unmatched. If you happen to be near the falls or en route to Thunder Bay, I highly recommend stopping by. I visited in August and still long for the cozy ambiance and tasty homemade scones. The coffee is exceptional, and the owners are fantastic hosts. Don't forget to ask the owner about his captivating stories from his excursions to Cuba. This place has left a lasting impression on me, and I can't wait to go back.
Loved visiting the metro moose again! Great coffee, cozy environment, knowledgeable staff and yummy eats. Snacks and lunch taste fresh and have great flavour. A perfect pit stop on the way back from visiting Kakabeka Falls!
