We said they were working to bring it back. The sandwiches were delicious. It is not a traditional deli, but the bread is fresh and the meat and cheese are good. The potato salad and macaronisalate were well flavored, moist, but not with Mayo. The cookies were buttery and soft. The staff is friendly and prompt.
No disappointment! Hubby loves the port for it is above the upper filling in the sandwich makes it a super full belly. I had the special that was a chicken sluice that was fresh and tasty. We also had a cup of creamy chicken noodle that was sooo good.
Best food ever! Homemade bread, fresh roasted meat and delicious salads and cookies. Please visit us!
Eat here! If the table and chairs of the 1980s, the wonderful ladies work the counter and freky hand written characters are not enough.... the food is simply delicious. Had Turkey, cranberry and cream cheese sandwich made on homemade wheat bread, with homemade Mac salad and of course at Haus Cobbler for lunch and was thrilled!!!! Large small town feel and a simple $10 lunch.
One of the most unique sandwiches I've ever eaten. Local and seems to use mostly homemade ingredients.
