Poker Pete's Pizza - Kalama

This is ridiculous. Poker petes pizza use to be some of my favorite its gone down hill bad. The last few times we've ordered pizza its flat, taste like cardboard and hardly any toppings. Very disappointing especially with the cost we pay. What happened?

Great service, food and ambiance! We have had several parties there in the bar and always super accommodating! Great community place to hang out also!

I 'm not sure about their service as we ordered pizza to go, 1/2 Evan Strikes Gold (aka Hawaiian); 1/2 Rodeo . I was EXTREMELY disappointed before I even tried it when I noticed the mushrooms on the Rodeo half actually came out of a can and were not fresh. The texture of canned mushrooms grosses me out. I wasn 't a fan of their sausage either. Then on the other (Hawaiian) half, I had bites that were like when you get a grain of dirt or sand in your food. I thought it otherwise tasted fine and it wasn 't every bite that had that, but it 's off putting when it feels like you have a grain of dirt or sand in your food. I 'm not saying that is what it was, but it was a grain of something which made it unpleasant to eat. I will not rule out eating there again, as even restaurants can have days worse than others. I just know not to order the Rodeo or anything else that has mushrooms on it.

The barmaid was wonderful, great sence of humor. The service was amazing and the pizza was really good. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Evan Strike's Gold
